Editors / Proof Readers
Barb Bradley
Barbara Donlon Bradley wears many hats. She is a multi-published, award-winning author, a senior Editor for Melange Books, and volunteers for MFRW, helping edit their monthly newsletter as well as help with Triberr for the group. To add to the pile she is the chief of the BTS 2 tribe and is caregiver for her 88 year old mother-in-law. Then there are the two cats that grace her life along with a very understanding husband of thirty years and their twenty-one year old son.
Jane Bonander
Jane’s first historical romance, Secrets of a Midnight Moon, was heralded as sensuous, violent and tender. I found the plot to my first novel in a little known history of Northern California Indians when I learned that Native Americans were being taken as slaves by the settlers, their families threatened with death and dismemberment if they tried to leave. Yes, one can weave a romance around such an appalling event! Since then, she has published nine full length novels and four anthologies, all dealing with the perils and passions of romantic historical fiction. She graduated from the University of Minnesota majoring in American and Russian History revealing that, while all of my stories are set in the US, I had hoped one day to set one in Russia, though in my opinion, the best ones have already been written. Jane continues to write and also edits for Melange Books. She currently lives in St. Paul, Minnesota with her husband, Richard Noer.
Jane Carver
In humid beautiful Texas one hundred miles from the Gulf of Mexico, Jane has been an educator, Challenge Course facilitator, photographer, security staff and now a writer and editor. Wife, mother and grandmother. These titles fit her well. She's held them all—some far longer than others. The title she long strived for was that of writer—now published author. In addition to editing for Melange, Jane writes under the pseudonyms, Jane Carver, Elizabeth Eden, Ruth Bolin and young adult author, Jane Grace.
Edna Curry
Edna Curry has edited or proofread hundreds of stories for various online publishers, including Melange Books, Class Act Books, Whiskey Creek Press-Torrid, and privately. She has published twenty-four novels of her own. She ismarried and lives near Minneapolis, MN.
Denise Devine
Denise Devine is a USA TODAY bestselling author who has had a passion for books since the second grade when she discovered Little House on the Prairie by Laura Ingalls Wilder. She wrote her first book, a mystery, at age thirteen and has been writing ever since. She writes sweet romantic comedy and inspirational romance. She is currently writing two series, Forever Yours (Inspirational) and Counting Your Blessings (Christmas romantic comedy). You can visit her at www.deniseannettedevine.com.
Miryam Fay
Miryam Fay was born in the Chicago area not too long ago. Literature became a passion of hers from a very early age. Since then, she's been working on reading whatever she could get her hands on. In college, she double-majored in English Literature and Development Psychology. She's worked on editing essays, short stories in a journal, and manuscripts in various stages of development. She greatly enjoys working to bring other readers books that are the best they can be.
Linda Mahoney Johnson
I am recently retired from healthcare management. I am the mother of 3 and grandmother of 4. I am an avid reader so editing/proofing for Melange is a great opportunity. I get paid to do something I love being a part of the Melange family—it’s rewarding.
Emma Lockley
My name is Emma Lockley and I run EAL Editorial Services.
I am a professional proofreader and copyeditor based in Devon (UK).
After completing my Masters degree in Victorian Studies I decided to embark upon a career in publishing. After working for a small publishing company for several years, working with some incredibly talented authors and gaining invaluable experience regarding the whole book publishing process, I decided the world of proofreading and editing was for me and completed the PTC Basic Proofreading course, CIEP Introduction to Copy-Editing and CIEP Introduction to Fiction Editing. I
have experience proofreading and copy-editing fictional and non-fictional books, children's books, academic journals and books, environmental reports and documents, websites, magazine publications, essays, dissertations and business documents.
Sybelle Maloney
Growing up on the family farm provided many adventures for Sybelle Maloney and instilled a love of books where girls ‘do things’ which in turn led to her enjoyment of reading and writing realistic young adult fiction as Shannon Kennedy. Her appreciation and love of the romance genre guided her to a career as paranormal, western romance author, Josie Malone.
A. L. Mundt
A.L. Mundt has been putting stories to paper since she was just three years old. Admittedly, though, they weren’t any good back then. Since graduating in 2018 with a BFA in Creative Writing, she has been editing for Written Dreams Publishing and Melange Books and is credited on multi-platinum recording artist Rick Roberts' upcoming autobiography, And It'll Be Alright. Her own YA Fantasy trilogy, Messengers, releases in 2020 and 2021, with prequels and a sister trilogy in the works. You can find her at @ALMundt on Facebook and @AuthorALMundt on Twitter or visit her website at ALMundt.com.
