For the first thirty-nine years of my life, I worked at various jobs--I was a waitress when i was younger, then I worked in insurance and accounting for awhile. Later, I took up teaching and tutoring. While I was doing all of that, I traveled quite a bit. I've visited most states and lived in more than one or two. I've visited and lived in three or four different countries, and am favored with many amazing friends from various points on the map. I don't get out as much as I used to. Instead, I stay in and write about the people I met--or almost met. I'm a very lucky person.
